ASM Taxi Service — Fair, Transparent & Easy Refund Guidelines
At ASM Taxi Service, we strive to provide a reliable and customer-friendly experience. This policy outlines the clear conditions under which cancellations are managed and refunds are processed for our taxi services.
1. Cancellation by Customer
1.1 Local Rides (Within Lucknow)
Free cancellation is applicable if the request is made at least 30 minutes before the scheduled pickup time. Cancellations made within 30 minutes of the pickup time may incur a standard cancellation charge based on driver allocation and distance.
1.2 Outstation or Intercity Rides
An eligible refund may be provided if the booking is cancelled at least 6 hours before the scheduled journey time. Cancellations made within 6 hours of pickup may incur a partial deduction based on driver assignment, time lost, or initial fuel costs.
2. Cancellation by ASM Taxi Service
In the rare event that we must cancel a confirmed booking due to driver unavailability, unpredictable vehicle breakdown, or regional operational issues, the customer will receive a full refund of eligible advance amount paid.
3. No-Show Policy
If a customer fails to arrive at the designated pickup location without prior notice, the following guidelines apply:
- Local Rides: No refund will be issued for the booked hours.
- Intercity/Outstation Rides: A partial refund may be considered on a case-by-case basis after deducting essential driver costs and logistical expenses.
4. Ride Complaints & Disputes
If you are dissatisfied with a ride due to vehicle condition or driver behavior, please contact our helpdesk immediately. Any partial or full compensation will be assessed fairly based on verified complaints, the severity of the issue, and supporting trip evidence.
5. Refund Processing Timeline
Once a refund request is approved, it will be processed within 3–5 business days. All refunds are issued back via the original payment method (such as UPI, Bank Transfer, or original digital wallet).
⚠️ Note: ASM Taxi Service is not liable for delays caused by the customer's banking network or external payment service providers.
