Refund Policy

At ASM Taxi Services, we strive to provide a reliable and customer-friendly experience. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued for our taxi services.

1. Cancellation by Customer

  • Local Rides:
    Free cancellation if made at least 30 minutes before the scheduled pickup time.
    If cancelled within 30 minutes of the pickup time, a cancellation charge may apply based on the distance and type of service.

  • Outstation or Intercity Rides:
    Full refund if cancelled at least 6 hours before the scheduled ride time.
    Cancellations made within 6 hours of pickup may incur a partial deduction based on time lost, driver assignment, or fuel cost.

2. Cancellation by ASM Taxi

If we cancel a booking due to driver unavailability, vehicle breakdown, or any operational issue, the customer will receive a 100% refund of any advance amount paid.

3. No-Show by Customer

If a customer fails to show up at the pickup location without prior notice:

  • For local rides: No refund may be issued.

  • For intercity or outstation bookings: A partial refund may be considered on a case-by-case basis, after deducting driver costs.

4. Ride Complaints or Disputes

If you are dissatisfied with a ride due to driver behavior, vehicle condition, or overcharging, please contact us immediately. Refunds or compensation (partial or full) will be assessed based on:

  • Verified complaint

  • Severity of the issue

  • Supporting evidence (photos, driver details, payment receipt, etc.)

5. Refund Process

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 3–5 business days.

  • Refunds will be issued via the original payment method (UPI, bank, or other digital wallet).

  • ASM Taxi is not liable for delays caused by the customer’s bank or payment service provider.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact our customer care with:

  • Your booking ID or trip reference

  • Date and time of the trip

  • Reason for refund request

  • Proof or screenshots (if available)
